I'm a bad little elf! I've been having too much fun with the children, and the ink, and the furniture, and now I'm in big trouble. I have to sit here until I count to a million ... and I have to promise that I will never be silly again!

Wow, that's going to take a long time, to count to a million. I guess I better get started!

Counting to a million, one, two, three,
Five, nine, ten, twelve, L, M, N, O, P,
Umpteen, squeebity, googol, gross, gazillion,
Two-to-the-tenth, three-kilo-bop!
One million!

Well, that didn't seem to take very long at all!

I think I'd better do it again, more slowly, and make sure I didn't miss any numbers. Okay, here goes, really carefully...

All right then! I did it! I counted to a million — twice! It still seem like it didn't take as long as it should have. Let's do it one more time, and this time all of you count with me!
