Aisling Willow Grey is a shamanic practitioner and musician. She has studied shamanism in the US, England, and Scotland with teachers including Sandra Ingerman, Tom Cowan, Frank MacEowen, and Geo Trevarthen. A passionate proponent of shamanic journeying as a tool for personal growth and transformation, Aisling, together with Peregrin Lake, has led a monthly shamanic journeying circle and beginner's journeying class in the Philadelphia area for the past ten years.
With Spirit Ensembles for Shamanic Journeying, Aisling brings a decidedly modern sensibility to the ancient practice of shamanism. Blending influences from rock, new age, orchestral, and tribal music, Aisling's group creates densely layered, repetitive trance soundscapes. Aisling's programs typically begin with a meditative introduction roughly a minute in length and end with a traditional callback. Each journey evokes a specific spirit guide and has its own distinctive sound and energy.
